Venice

Hiking the Cinque Terre
For stunning views, picturesque villages, crazy open terrains and local experiences, it is hard to beat Cinque Terre. It stretches from Monterosso to Riomaggiore which is up to 12 km. It is nicely broken into segments that you can go from one town to another, moving on by train or as per your convenience. Do not forget to build stamina and wear good boots.
The Tuscon Hills
The countryside of Tuscan hills can be best rejoiced at leisure, halting to seek tiny settlements of the bigger medieval towns that top the hilltops. While doing a driving tour you can experience the details more closely. A bicycle tour will get you even closer.
A web of unpaved and little-travelled lanes and roads called Strade Bianche spiral through the fields of puppies and orchards that encircle the east of San Gimignano and hills south.
