I always wanted to travel to Egypt especially now since my kids; Zyan 13 and Lili 15 have begun to show the same passion and interest in this amazing country as well. Traveling with your family can be very difficult and risk that’s why booking a travel agency was the most ideal choice for our safety, time and budget. Me and my family began visualizing our perfect family tour and starting picking all the places and attractions that we wanted to visit, and since it is very hard to travel to any place at the moment thanks to the damn covid, we decided to make sure to experience everything Egypt has to offer. Our 15 days Budget Family vacation took place when our Guide Mohamed El Shemei picked us at Cairo Airport late at night where we were greeted then assisted with all the paper works and luggage then driven by a private AC vehicle to our hotel in Cairo. The hotel was close to Cairo Airport where we had a very relaxing and easy check-in. The next day was totally free to relax from the long flight, at night after we fully relaxed, we boarded a magical dinner cruise with our tour guide across the Nile in Cairo which had an amazing view over the whole city and the food was very exotic and delicious. On our third day the fun began, when got to the main attractions the great pyramids of Giza, the marvel of Imphtep Saqqara, then we headed to Memphis city the first-ever capital of Egypt, we learned a great deal of information from our guide Mohamed El Shemei who seemed to know every single detail of the history of Giza. This day was truly phenomenal. We then took a flight to Hurghada where we found an employee waiting for us then we were taken to our hotel to relax.
On the fourth day, we enjoyed a free day in the city of Hurghada where the sight of the red sea was enjoyed to the fullest and the kids have a lot of fun. On the fifth day, we headed to the colorful Dendera and Abydos temples where we witnessed some of the most captivating decorations and heard some of the best stories from our guide Yasser Samir. We headed back to the hotel to relax and prepare for the next day. It was always a dream of mine to board a Nile cruise across the Nile River between Luxor and Aswan, and on the sixth day of my tour, the dream is now a reality. We were taken from our hotel in Luxor to the east bank which heads to the legendary house of the gods Karnak temple and the beautiful Luxor Temple, every moment there was absolute magic filled with marvelous decorations, history, and artwork after we finished our guide Yasser took us to board the Nile Cruise where we spent the overnight. Then on the seventh day, we explored the other glorious half of the city of Luxor which contains the powerful Hatshepsut temple, Colossi of Memnon and the Valley of the Kings home to epic tombs like Tutankamun, Hatshepsut, Ramses the great, and more.
On the eighth day, we entered the golden city of Aswan where we explored the marvelous Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo temple from the deck of the cruise. Our Guide Mahmoud Nour informed us with many amazing details about these two wonderful and he was with us the next day when we had a great adventure to the heavenly Abu Simbel temple which took a three-hour drive where we had the most entertaining picnic across one of the most spectacular sights I have ever seen. We returned to the Nile cruise where we spent the night.
Our Nile Cruise continued to one last day where we headed to the unfinished obelisk of Hatshepsut temple, the House of Isis Philae temple, and the great Aswan High Dam then we head to Aswan airport where we caught a flight to Cairo, after we landed from Cairo airport, we head to our hotel to relax.
Were started our day by meeting our brilliant tour guide Mohamed Elshemei who took us across all the legendary wonders of Cairo such as the national museum of Egyptian civilization where the entire history and culture of Egypt across 5000 years, then afterward we explored some religious constructions in the heart of old Cairo.
In the early morning, we headed to the majestic city of Alexandria the great treasure city left by Alexander the Great. With our guide Mohamed we witness the remarkable beauty of the Mediterranean Sea and some unique constructions like Catacombs, Quitbay citadel, and more. Then we return to our hotel in Cairo.
The attractions of Cairo are truly endless as we spent the next two days exploring the hidden gems of the city of wonders such as Cairo Tower, Paron Palace, Saaman Monastery, then in the next day our guide took us to some of the most incredible Islamic constructions like Al Azhar Mosque, BaBZeila and the golden Khan el Khalili where we purchased the finest items.
On the final day, the driver took us to the airport where we caught our flight home.
Before leaving, we were a bit worried, that the number of visits would be overwhelming, but, due to the very good organization, we felt relaxed at the whole time thanks to Egypt Tours Portal’s incredible staff.
