Day 1: Fes- Merzouga Desert

  1. Begin your adventure early in the morning and make your way to the High Atlas Mountains. Stop for a coffee at Ifran, nicknamed the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its chalet-style residences. 
  2. Soon after that, it’s time to serve the monkeys! They reside in cedar woods and enjoy the delicious bananas sold along the roadway.

Day 2: Merzouga – Dades Valley

  3. In Rissani, take the chance to see the domestic market with the “donkey parking” and go fossil digging outside of town.
  4. After a brief stop for lunch, continue along the river to the Todra Canyons, where you may enjoy a short but stunning trek between the 300-meter-high granite cliffs.
  5. Head to Boumalne Dades until arriving to your Guesthouse for the evening in the Dades valley, in which you can take several excellent photos of the unique rock formations that resemble monkey palms. In Dades, stay in a Riad for dinner and the night.

Day 3- Dades Valley-Marrakech

  1. On the drive to Marrakech today, pass through a variety of landscapes. Along the way, take in the sights of the Canyon of a Million Kasbahs and the iconic Valley of Roses.
  2. Explore the old Historic Center of Taourirt, which was established under the Glaoui era, in the desert region of Ouarzazate, often known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.”
  3. At Ben Haddou, the walled clay town with its several knars and Kasbahs is located just across from Ouarzazate. It is where numerous notable films like Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Prince of Persia were filmed. This picturesque town is also a World Heritage Site.
  4. proceed over the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass just after visit & luncheon in At Ben-Haddou, with breathtaking vistas along the way and plenty of picture chances. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening at the Riad or Hotel.
